Iris is a genus of 260–300 species.it is a flowering plant life with showy plants. It takes its name from the Greek phrase for a rainbow. Which is also the call for the Greek goddess of the rainbow, Iris.
Irises are perennial flowers, developing from creeping rhizomes or, in drier climates, from bulbs. They have long, erect flowering stems. Which may be simple or branched, strong or hole, and flattened or have a round move-segment. The rhizomatous species usually have three–10 basal sword-fashioned leaves developing in dense clumps.
