Chandramallika(चंद्रमल्लिका,गुलदाउदी)

Chandramallika is a seasonal plant decorating flowers. There are almost 30 species of this plant. These plants mostly found in Asia & Northeastern Europe. The scientific name of this flower is the Chrysanthemum. According to the Greek language, its meaning is Golden Flower. The name of this flower is guldawdi in Hindi Guladwdi is one of the famous plants flowering in Autumn. Flower of guladawdi’s is in many colors – white, yellow, purple, orange & pink. The leaves of this flower are different. It is an erect, low leaf plant that lives for only a few years. The leaves of chrysanthemum are thin, cut like cotton or bitter gourd leaves and of different sizes.

There are two different types of this flower big & small. Chrysanthemum with small & white or yellow flowers is more effective for medicine. The flowering & fruiting time on this is from September To February.
