Daffodil is a perennial plant of spring flower mostly found in North America, excepts the hottest regions of South Florida. Generally planted it in the season of autumn and it starts flowering in winter & spring season. The other name of this flower is Narcissus & Jonquil. Usually Daffodil flowers found in white & yellow colour, with six petals & the shape of its corona is in trumpet. The leaves of this flower are long & thin.
Now a days there are many varieties exits of this plant. This plant flowering in a large groups & cover the whole ground. It is a 6 to 8 inch long flower, leaveless stems between 1 or 20 flowers. The stems of this flower are smooth & staight, thats why it bow down when it bloom. This plant flowering in a bunch and each bunch have 7 to 8 flowers. the shape of this flower about 2 to 5 inch.
Daffodil is called ‘Nargish’ in hindi. It is a member of species ‘ Amaryllidaceae’. basically This plant is well known in ancient civilization, medically & botanically. Formally it described its species in ‘Plantrum’. Daffodil flower have Approximately 50 species. Basically it is a very beautiful & shiny flower which grows easy & a yearly flowering plant.
