H. Benghalensis is a variable vine-like perennial shrub. In rainforest canopies it can be a tall, woody vine. When developing extra open sites. These sepals are oblong, about 8 calcined gland reddish brown. It is about 4 mm long present between 2 sepals and partially attached to the pedicel. The petals are ovate to sub-orbital, alternating with sepals.
